For those of you who were there, congratulations indeed! For those of us who weren't, you can definitely feel the great vibe. In fact, you can feel it a little too well since there's a fair amount of crowd noise. As a Paul & Fred audience recording available here, this one doesn't sound as good as Woodstock 1/04. You have to really crank it to get some of the between-song banter. But you can hear the music well enough, and what a performance! Paul says the set list was affected by wanting to skip tunes they do with the full band. Hence rare treats like Ain't Had Enough Fun and Trouble > Roll Um Easy, dedicated to Lowell George's widow Elizabeth (who was there). And if that's not enough, there's a terrific cover of the Band's Tears of Rage. It ain't Jamaica, but it's a lot closer than you'd figure to get for the price of a blank CD.

Do yourself a favor. Next sunny day set up a lawn chair, crack open a Red Stripe, smoke some kind, pop this CD on the boom box, kick back and relax. Feel that...It's a cool, tropical breeze coming in off the waves gently lapping the sandy shore. While the sunshine warms up that big 'ol grin on your face, this crisp, intimate recording will take down to the islands. If you were lucky enough to be there when this was recorded, then it will definately take you back. Aiko-Aiko!
